How My Content Is Made

Every article on this site follows the same process before it is published. This page explains how I choose topics, check details, and keep my posts up to date.

My goal is simple: to give readers easy, practical design help they can use at home.

My Promise to You

My articles aim to be clear, useful, and honest.

Each article should:

  • Answer a question you might have
  • Help solve a real design problem
  • Be easy to read
  • Offer tips you can use every day

I think about real homes, real budgets, and real life.

My Process

Every article goes through the same steps.

Choosing a Topic

I look at the questions readers send me. I also follow new design trends, seasonal needs, and everyday home challenges.

Research

I learn from trusted design sources. I read store pages, size and dimension guides, and material details, and I keep an eye on what is popular right now.

Writing

I use plain, simple language, with clear steps and easy examples.

Fact-Checking

Before an article goes live, I check names, dates, and product details, especially anything that could change.

Final Review

I read each article one last time to make sure it is accurate, clear, and helpful.

Who Reviews the Content

This website is run by Bobby Berk. I read every article myself before it is published.

If a guest contributes research or writing, I edit and review their work first.

How I Check Facts

I rely on the best sources I can find. When possible, I look at:

  • Brand dimension and size guides
  • Product pages
  • Material and care labels
  • Current design trends
  • Trusted design resources

If I can’t confirm a claim, I leave it out.

What I Double-Check

Before publishing, I may verify:

  • Brand and product names
  • Dates and seasons
  • Sizes and measurements
  • Material details
  • Prices and availability, when mentioned
  • Links to other websites

Design opinions are presented as opinions, never as facts.

My Standards

Every article should:

  • Have a clear purpose
  • Be easy to skim
  • Offer fresh, helpful ideas
  • Use accurate information
  • Include real-life examples
  • Be reviewed by a human editor

If an article falls short, I fix it before publishing.

Do I Use AI?

I may use AI tools for small tasks, such as research support, spell checking, or organizing ideas. A person reviews every article before it goes live, and I never publish AI-written text without checking it first.

Independent Choices

I write for you, the reader. I choose topics based on what is useful and clear.

Keeping Content Fresh

I revisit older articles regularly. Trend pieces, shopping advice, and seasonal ideas get the most attention.

Updates may include:

  • New design information
  • Better examples
  • Simpler wording
  • Sharper photos
  • Fixed links

Spotted a Mistake?

If you find an error, outdated information, or a broken link, please tell me. I read every message and fix the article when needed.
